My.N's tight integration and high data integrity enure that controls requiring lengthy manual procedures in many systems simply happen automatically. For example, My.N's stock system is always in balance with the general ledger. In addition, My.N's integrated stock take system enables a random, rolling stock take policy, widely regarded as the best way to quickly identify and pin point shrinkage problems and minimize losses.

Workflow Automation

My.N supports both implicit  and explicit automation of workflow.

For example receipt of goods automatically creates an allocation to backordered sales orders and the warehouse will automatically see new orders appear on their picking lists as goods are received. Similarly manufacturing areas will automatically see new stock availabilities for work orders awaiting components.

Explicit automation may be achieved by using My.N's 'events'. Whenever a system action occurs to a 'business object' - such as allocating an order, adding a line to an invoice, or saving a customer record - an 'event' is fired. My.N provides a custom module that 'sees' every event so that any necessary action can be added. For example an e-mail could be sent to a manager when the profit margin on a sales order falls below a set percentage. Or if the profit margin fell below a lower limit the event could be programmed to send a 'Cancel' notification preventing the action happening at all.

Reporting

My.N is a fully-integrated, real-time system that takes full advantage of the data integrity features provided by the Microsoft SQL Server database. This means that all data is accurate, up-to-the minute and consistent.

The built-in Open Door reporting system enables the user to create any required report, or even build in their own drill-downs or queries by adding their own buttons interactively to any standard form in the My.N system.

In addition, comprehensive export capabilities mean that you can get the data where you want it. For example, report data will not only export to Excel but insert totals as Excel formulas.
