Issues and Tasks
My.N provides features for managing work at two separate levels - Issues and Tasks.
Issues may arise externally, such as a customer request for a quotation or a customer service issue, or they may be generated internally as a result of a management directive. Issues provide a high level interface for managers to review outstanding work.
Issues may be organized into threads, making it easy to follow and review progress on an issue by issue basis.
Where specific action is required, issues may spawn linked Tasks. Tasks may be scheduled at exact dates and times or generally allocated to a period of one or more days.
Tasks provide a means for an individual to manage their work load, and for managers to review overall workloads and assign responsibilities.
Tasks may arise from issues, may be created independently, or may arise from the Job Management System. Joint tasks may be created so that individuals may be organized into teams allowing
the work for the team as a whole to be managed and scheduled.
